A few years ago, I had to unexpectedly get a storage unit for my furniture/apartment necessities. Greencastle Mini Storage made my experience so easy and seamless. They are top tier at providing exceptional customer service and support and at that time they were running a special and their price was the lowest in the surrounding area. I 100% recommend Greencastle Mini Self Storage and will do business with them again when I need storage. Thank you for an amazing experience!

If you are traveling or moving and need an inexpensive storage unit, this is the place! If A loved one past away and you need A place for their items on the drop of A dime because you have no room with no hidden fees and even maybe A surprise discount.This is the place! This is the best storage unit company to use in my opinion when in Franklin county Pennsylvania. They have A locations in Greencastle and two in Chambersburg. By far the best staff I have ever interacted with or encountered while renting A storage unit. Some people are rude or inconsiderate but everyone at mini self storage; Chambersburg and Greencastle, specially Greencastle location are super friendly and helpful. They even have discounts for 2-3 months depending on the size or the unit you rent out. The staff working there always trys to meets their customers needs/demands the best they can. A huge thank you to Emily, Tara, another lady I spoke too but forget her name, she was super helpful and friendly as well but also A gentlemen Terrance I talked to once. Those 4 deserve A raise!! Really great people. I haven't rented A storage unit since I was 18, they made the process super easy!!! And because I had my own lock, I wasn't charged no hidden fee for some extra lock I didn't need or any hidden fee at all. They even itemize my receipt and sent it to me via email so I got to see exactly what I spent money on and why. It's a very clean, organized and well kept facility. All units have a raised entrance so it helps prevent water damage and water from entering. Any time I have questions, I can call and they are answered quickly and promptly. Again, Huge thank you to those three ladies and that one gentleman! They deserve A raise. Really great people, friendly and awesome staff! Because of the awesome service I had, I am able to store my stuff in a unit for less then $80 that's a 10 x 25. Very neat and clean unit, also 24/7 and it has cameras so you don't have to worry of your stuff being broken into and for less then $20 you can get insurance protection up to $3500. You can order them online or go into the main office in Greencastle, if you do ask for Tara! She's amazing and awesome. Super awesome place, I was surprised I found A storage unit and the customer service as awesome as I did while traveling. Very great place and people.

I’ve had my rental storage unit for a few days now. So far so good! I came on a Friday and was told I could fill the paperwork out in person, but they were closed! I was very disappointed about that, but I was still able to get in with the online process. I called the company’s number and a woman was very helpful and accommodating to my needs. Walked me through the whole process, because it can be confusing when you’re doing it online and alone at the place. As for security, it is gated and you need a code to get in which is very nice. The storage is true to size depending on which you buy. Keep in mind that you have to pay $15 for a lock and extra for if you want insurance for the items in the unit. I will update my review after having my belongings here for a while and see how it goes! Update: it’s been a year and all is good!

It’s really close to home too I was putting stuff in my building and when I was finished, the door was stuck open. We tried to get it down but couldn’t. We called and we had the manager therein a few minutes and the door was fixed This was even on Sunday. Thank you so much

I had some stuff there for about 6 months and the staff was always nice whenever I had to speak to them. Paying was simple you could sign up for auto pay which is nice. The unit was a smaller one but fit for what I needed for. Moving out was simple too she just emailed me a form I signed it and that was it. All in all I my experience was good! Will definitely use them again if I needed to.

Overall, I was very pleased with our experience using Greencastle Mini Self Storage. We paid extra for a climate-controlled unit for peace of mind thinking our valuables would be safe from the elements, but our unit had moisture and destroyed some of our boxes, although luckily none of our belongings were ruined. The staff was all very pleasant to work with, but I knocked a star due to the fact if I am paying extra for a climate-control unit, I expect it to be climate-controlled.

We have rented 2 units now, one in Greencastle & now in Chambersburg. Both times I reserved the unit online & everything was ready to go the next morning. I love doing things online, saves a lot of time & the process is super simple. I had an after hours issue & I had 3 maybe 4 manager’s/employees contact me back within 5-10 minutes! I also had reserved a unit that was a little too small & they were so helpful! I’d definitely recommend trying any of their locations out & they have a bunch! It’s also BY FAR the best value & they have had a promo both times I’ve been shopping around for a unit. Very happy with my experience!

Great facility, easy to rent from and access. Loved that I had 24hr access to my unit and was able to do everything 100% online.

Haven’t moved stuff in yet but the check in process was easy and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The only surprise was the mandatory purchase of insurance which added $13 a month to the cost. Even with that it’s still cheaper than any of the others closer to home.

Thank you to the managers that have been extremely respectful, helpful, top notch customer service and reliable. I wanted my edit my review, although I still have the same issues, I was contacted by the owner and he showed genuine concern and honored my requests to correct things. I would give them 5 stars for their customer service. I arrived on my move-in day and my code did work but after riding around and around I finally looked in a parking lot next door to the facility had to go back out on the road to pull in there and I found my unit. It was in an unsecured unlocked building with mostly empty units but of course mine was way in the back, no cart to load my things on too to help me. What little light there was turned off while I was loading my unit ( on motion sensors) leaving only the emergency lights to find my way out. I will have to say the manager did respond to me very quickly and understood my issues but simply said there was nothing she could do for me. Simply said I will not go back there alone and I will get my things out as quickly as I can. Until they correct their problems I cannot recommend this facility. Did I mention that I am a single 65-year-old woman on disability.

I recently rented a third unit at A-1 Greencastle Self Storage and went use it for the first time today and found a tag in the door latch and was not sure we could just break off the tab. The representative that I spoke with was patient with me despite my nit understanding what non-issue this really was. Finally I understood I could just get rid of the tab but I was still not sure how to do but figured I could he some wire cutters and remove the tag. The representative did not argue with and reassured me I could just remove the tag which I appreciated. It turns out all I had to do was twist it off. Thanks again for your patience with me.

Instead of me having to call back In doing so, she allowed me to be able to secure a unit. Was very prompt in getting paperwork over via email. One of the best unit managers I've dealt with.
