This was a good experience. This was my first time having to utilize a storage space. The only thing that was difficult was trying to find the storage space. It is in the center of the building. When we went to the office to inquire where it was as a first time user of any type of storage space it would have been more helpful if the person in the office could have taken us to the storage space instead of just giving us directions. Thank you. It is a nice clean unit.

I was quite surprised with their ability to adapt to my needs. I am old and newly single and had to wait on my son in laws to get home from work to help unload my truck. But they understood and just left the contract in the unit and pay over the phone later. So i got everything taken care of in my time. Thank You Girls

I had a wonderful experience storing my items with Hilltop storage facility. Staff was always pleasant and helpful and if I got locked out the gate they were prompt in getting me support and a temporary code until mine could be reset the next day. I recommend ten stars.

The issue we had has been resolved and we were taken care of. Below was previous to the resolution but I figured I would leave it here for reference of what happened. I am grateful that we were able to work something out and that the owners were able to help. I will continue to use Hilltop for my future storage needs and recommend them to others looking for the services they offer. We had no issues at all until somehow water got into our unit. We had insurance but they would not cover our claim because it was identified "surface water." There was some speculation of a clogged drain during a heavy rainfall in September that could've caused this. After our claim was denied I've emailed the manager in hopes that the owners would make it right. There were a couple emails back and forth but no answer on whether or not they would help us recoup our loss. I understand I signed a contract but was under the impression the insurance I bought would cover any type of water damage. It was not until after I filed my claim that I was told exactly what our insurance covered. I'm moving to the area and will vacate the unit immediately after my move. In the future I will go elsewhere for my storage needs and use this experience to ensure something like this does not happen again.

Rental experience was great! Quick online registration and rental agreement was signed online in minutes. Had access to the storage unit in no time!

I only rented a unit for the month but the entire process from signing up to turning over was super smooth. Access is easy and the unit's door had no issues. The location is convenient and close to hanover. You can drive your car right up to the unit. In all I would consider this place again.

Accessible, friendly, professional. Units clean and dry, rates reasonable. What's not to like? We stored for 3 months or so, a 3,000 cu. ft. unit, and had one false alarm on moving out because our house deal blew up, and they pro-rated us for credit on the days we had left on our month. Altogether a top-notch outfit. And no security worries either.

So far so good. Kelsea got me signed up with a storage shed completely online and via email in what was a very painless and quick process. I was stressed out over my personal situation but Kelsea was very friendly and patient with me. The customer service I received was great. My shed was clean and the facility is nice and secure. One thing I like the most is having a drive-up PIN pad at the entrance so I don't have to get out of my vehicle to swipe a badge or enter my code. Also, automatic opening gate when I leave is awesome.

Best price and availability I could find near me. Easy, convenient online process. Management is on top of things. Recommend

We are in the process of moving to this area and will be driving a truck to storage from Texas. I reserved a unit via the website and received a call the next day from the manager. We chose to go ahead and rent early so we would have a unit and the manager made the transaction smooth and easy. She even offered to add a lock for us until we can get there. Thank you for helping us get one more item off of the list of things to do.

I have had a storage unit at Hilltop Self Storage for years. Yesterday I went into their office to change the name on my rental agreement. The process was completed in a few minutes and the manager I talked with was so nice and informative. The units are clean and easily accessible. It just is a perfect place to do business if you need extra space for your household items. I would recommend them highly and will remain a loyal customer.

They are good people with reasonable prices. I changed my storage spot and couldn't remember which one it was. This kind gentleman, on a golf cart, gave me a ride from the place I parked to the office. They looked up my unit number, and then he gave me a ride back.

I rented unit T-60, just closing out my rental for the winter season. Wanda and Doreen were the best. They accommodated every need I had, including calling me when I put the lock on the unit incorrectly. I live in California so I could not fix this. They did and I was highly impressed with the professionalism and the care they showed me. Both have been great, and because of them I will repeat my business with Hill Top this coming March.

I have rented or looked at storage units in many places. This facility is BY FAR THE BEST I SEEN. In fact, it is so good I rented a climate controlled space there this week for my stuff. Wanda, the manager, is very personable and helpful. She keeps the Office and Units in great shape and CLEAN. You can also rent UHaul trucks for moving your things. All in all, if you are looking for storage near Gettysburg-New Oxford - Abbottstown - Spring Grove or even Hanover, check this place out! Steven Fleming

I have been here over two years and the staff is always wonderful. The only negative was the flooding but that was not their fault as every where flooded. I would recommend this place to every one!

What a great place! Just moved here from Maryland and walked in to see about a storage space. Doreen at the front desk was helpful and friendly as was the maintenance man. The units and the yard are clean and everything is well maintained. Certainly made my day!

We rented a storage unit from hill top storage. The staff is very helpful and the facility Is clean and Secure. The only down side was when dealing with the call center. They where not helpful or knowledgeable of the facility.

The staff at the New Oxford/Hanover facility are outstanding.  They have been very polite and personable.  When we were last there, we apparently did not engage our lock properly and through their daily exterior inspections, they found our lock open and called us to let us know.  That’s service!!  They take  their customers’ security seriously.  We just rented an additional unit from them.
